Soldering Irons
Heavy Duty Screw Tip Irons
Maximum thermal mass and extra-large tip surface area for maximum coverage. Power ranges from 90 to 800 watts.
Product Description
Screw Tip Irons provide lots of thermal mass and extra-large tip surface area for maximum coverage. The oversize chisel tip is furnished in a screw tip iron in copper, allowing the user to shape the tip to suit applications. Copper tips are good for occasional, intermittent use. Xtradur tips are best used for continuous steady production soldering and should never be filed. The element outer case is machined from a solid piece of high strength, nickel plated alloy steel and is practically indestructible. The hexagonal case shape allows the iron to be held in a vise or gripped with a wrench for maintenance without damaging it. Power ranges from 90 to 800 watts. Also available in 220V.
